Both PI Directors were happy: Jayne because it was a great success in her home city and Andrew because David Gillick, former student of Andrew’s school in Dublin, won a gold medal for Ireland in the 400m!

Pearce International provided a turn-key media operation for this prestigious event. Services included news service, photographic services as well as media volunteer training and management. A team of over 60, managed by Pearce International, provided services to a total media contingent of almost 600 journalists, photographers and television and radio representatives. The event was heralded the best ever edition of the championships by European Athletics.
