Pearce International provided the press operation for this hugely successful event. The services included providing optimum working conditions for the media, photography services, in-house news service and contact with athletes during the event.

The 9th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics were held in the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, UK from 14 to 16 March 2003. It was the first time the Championships had been held in the UK. There were a total number of 589 participating athletes from 133 countries.[1]

This was also the last time that the IAAF World Championships in Athletics and the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics were held in the same year, with Jayne holding the title of Press Chief for both of these events.
