Jayne Pearce was the FIFA Media Officer at the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 in Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. The role oversees all media ticketing at the venue, coordinates immediate post-match interviews with coach and player, moderates the press conferences and has the overall responsibility for all media at the venue.
According to then FIFA president Sepp Blatter the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup was the best version of the tournament ever played. The competition was the first national team tournament to employ goal line technology which was also used at the 2014 World Cup.
