It is true to say that we are always excited to get involved with a new sport, but on this occasion we have to say we are VERY excited! This is because, this time, the new sport is netball. Anyone who knows JP may also know that she played netball at a high level with a trial for the England team and playing for both the English University and British University teams and she still plays now. Yet up to now, Pearce International has never worked on a netball event.

Not any more! We are delighted to announce that we have signed a contract to deliver the media operation to the upcoming Vitality Netball World Cup, the 15th edition of the premier international netball tournament which will take place in Liverpool from 12-21 July 2019.
This is the third time the quadrennial event has been held in England – the inaugural World Championship (as it was known then) took place in Eastbourne in 1963, with the tournament returning to English shores in Birmingham in 1995.

England is proud of its strong netball history; however, the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 is looking to the future and will capitalise on both the growing interest in women’s sport in the UK and the increasing importance of interactive media to provide netball fans with a unique experience that will take them closer to the action and their heroines than ever before.

With the enormous gold medal-winning success of the English netball team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and their winning Sports Team of the Year in the 2018 BBC Sports Personality of the Year we think now is the best possible time for England to be hosting the Netball World Cup. We will be doing all we can to make sure that the world’s netball journalists have everything they need to spread the stories and images of this fantastic sporting event.
